Thank you to all delegates who attended this year’s Congress in Vancouver!
You may have noticed a few energizing changes this year at CCC. Our Kick-Off Session featured prominent speakers including the Federal Health Minister, Ginette Petitpas Taylor, President of the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Yves Savoie, and CCS President Catherine Kells, and keynote Julio Montaner, who discussed his work on Treatment as Prevention and the lessons learned from the fight against HIV/AIDS can be applied to the cardiovascular sciences. To help get you energized, the Drum Café focused their engaging drumming presentation on team building and communication.
Again, this year, delegates were able to scroll through posters using our interactive ePosters on digital touchscreens. The POSTER on the GO web portal gives you full access to re-visit the presentations you saw onsite, or any that you may have missed.

The 2017 Canadian Cardiovascular Congress
The 2017 Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC) is being held at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, BC from Saturday, October 21 to Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
Year after year, CCC continues to grow by bringing returning and new delegates to different locations across the country. The importance of the CCC is always expressed by attendees after the event: It’s the most essential networking event of the year and the best opportunity to stay up-to-date on the latest Canadian research, policy and practice in the field, making it one of Canada’s longest running medical meetings for a reason.
Vancouver is home to some of Canada’s most spectacular scenery and experiences. Where else can you walk downtown, hop on a boat, ski and go whale watching?
The Greater Vancouver area is the third most populous metropolitan area in the Canada and the most populous in Western Canada. Vancouver is also considered one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities in North America. There are a variety of restaurant, entertainment and retail options and a vibrant nightlife, as well as a wide selection of CCC 2017 Hotels for our delegates.
“The transformation and evolution of the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress continues as we focus on you, and your educational experience...watch for the Preliminary Programme, available soon! You really don't want to miss CCC 2017 in Vancouver.”
